Beyonce ‘black’

London, Feb. 24 (PTI): After reports that she has bleached her hair and skin in a bid to “go white”, Beyonce Knowles has now donned black face make-up to shoot for an African- themed spread in a French magazine.

For L’Officiel’s 90th-anniversary issue, Beyonce puts on tribal clothing and her caramel skin tone was darkened by heavy make-up. It caused an uproar but L’Officiel said Beyonce was “paying homage to African queens”.
