Dalila enters final

Slovenia’s Dalila Jakupovic, the top seed, set up a title clash with second-seeded Mari Tanaka of Japan for the singles title in the ITF Woman’s Tennis Tournament, to be held on Saturday at the JMTA.

Raman up

Rishabdev Raman reached the final of the boys’ singles in the ONGC-ITF Junior Tennis championship, at DKS, on Friday. The second seed got the better of fourth-seeded Chih-Jen Ho of Chinese Taipei in a gruelling three-set match. Ratnika Batra, however, failed to reach the final. Third-seeded Croatian Donna Vekic defeated her.

Table tennis

Siliguri will take on Central Calcutta (A) in the men’s table tennis team final of the 3rd Netaji Subhas State Games, on Saturday. Siliguri beat Central Kolkata (B) 3-0, while Central Kolkata (A) blanked Hooghly 3-0.
