Draw pushes Anand to

2nd position

Wijk Aan Zee: World champion Viswanathan Anand played out an easy draw against world No. 1 Magnus Carlsen of Norway in the seventh round of the ‘A’ group of 73rd Tata Steel Chess tournament here.

With six rounds still to come, Hikaru Nakamura of the US is well in front on 5.5 points, half a point clear of Anand.

Abu Dhabi: Defending champion Martin Kaymer played sensational golf for a final round 66 as he aggregated a fabulous 24-under to blow the field away and win by eight strokes over Rory McIlroy (69) in the first leg of the Desert Swing at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championships.
