Airport gets doctors
Patna
: Two doctors from Jagdish Memorial Hospital will be present in the medical inspection room of Jai Prakash Narayan International Airport from now on. Arvind Dubey, the airport director, inaugurated the services on Wednesday. arlier, Magadh Hospital was responsible for providing the services.
Protest

: Workers of Sainik Samata Dal burnt the effigy of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chief Sonia Gandhi and Union agriculture minister Sharad Pawar on Wednesday to protest against price rise. The protesters blocked traffic at Dakbungalow roundabout.
Admission

: Patna University authorities have asked Patna Training College administration to admit one Ranjit Kumar. Kumar’s admission was rejected by the institute because there were irregularities in his papers. But the university found his papers to be satisfactory.
Agitation

: All India Students’ Association (Aisa) on Wednesday protested on the Patna University campus over price hike and growing corruption. Aisa has called for a strike at various universities in the state over the issue. Classes at BN College and Darbhanga House were interrupted.
