Indians beat Windies by 10 runs

Vadodara: India eves survived a late burst from Anisa Mohammed and Shakera Selmaneked to register a 10-run win over West Indies women’s team, in the second ODI, here on Thursday.

Brief scores: India 134 (Harmanpreet Kaur 26). West Indies 124 (Gouhar Sultana 3/10). India won by 10 runs.

CSA move

Calcutta: Cricket South Africa (CSA) has decided to extend the closing date for applications for the position of head national coach of the Proteas by a further month. Applications will now close on February 18.

Dakar death

Buenos Aires: Argentine media reported that a man died Thursday when the small truck he was driving collided with a car participating in the Dakar Rally. The accident took place when Argentine driver Eduardo Amor was still completing the 10th stage.

Siddikur in lead
