Moitreyee Mondal, 24, is a fashion graduate from iNIFD, Salt Lake, currently studying Fashion & Clothing Technology at NIFT. The t2 reader was all excited when she learnt about the makeover sessions and decided to let herself go.
Hair: Michelle from Ballygunge Park Roads Rapunzel starts off with Wellas SP Smoothen Shampoo and Conditioner. Her hair ends are a little frizzy. So they need a bit of smoothening, says Michelle. Next, she reaches out for Wellas High Hair Crystal Styler and SP Perfect Hold Hairspray. The last product is applied just before Moitreyees hair is trimmed a bit. Michelle chooses to give her a disconnected style at the crown and a fringe. This will give her more volume. The fringe will hide the broad forehead. The look will suit her small face, she explains. For some nice, defined curls, Moitreyee is given pin curls. Some finishing spray later, Michelle tops it off with a generous dose of Kryolan Glitter Spray to seal the party look.
Base: After some basic cleansing, toning and moisturising, make-up artist Nabin Das readies Moitreyees face with foundation from Kryolan (FS 28). Negro 2 from Kryolan is used to contour her nose. Some translucent powder from M.A.Cs Studio Fix is dabbed on her face to settle the foundation.
Cheeks: Brown is blended with gold and brushed on the cheeks.
Eyes: To complement her yellow dress, she is given a combination of peach and brown eye-shadow.
Lips: Nabin rubs some pink gloss on Moitreyees puckers for some shine.
Agnimitra gives her a little yellow dress. A quilted corset in satin is teamed with textured tissue flowers, beads and stones. A shredded net stole, a headband and a pair of black knee-length boots complete the look.
Agnispeak: I have tried to give her a 50s style
Moitreyeespeak: I am very happy with the makeover. This is in fact the first time that I have experimented with my looks and hair
