3 lakh in assets ring
Over three lakh school teachers, 1,500 senior human resource development (HRD) officers and 2,000 employees in the state would declare their assets by January 31. We have fixed January 31 as the deadline for more than three lakh teachers, 1500 senior and 2000 other employees from Grade I to III to declare their assets,” said Anjani Kumar Singh, the state’s HRD principal secretary said on Tuesday.
University Grants Commission has sent a notification to Patna University about the pay scale of teachers. With this the salaries of teaching and non-teaching employees would jump by over 50 per cent.
State human resource development department has made a hike of Rs 1,000 in the remuneration of teachers. With this the trained teachers’ remuneration would rise to Rs 8,000 from the existing Rs 7,000.
The process of admission for BEd courses at the two colleges was suspended even on Tuesday. The process was to start from January 1 but it could not as students kept protesting for the introduction of quota for sports and cultural activities.
