Sights & sounds: Multicoloured strands of rice lights decked the CC&FC greens on Friday night, giving the place a magical feel. A heavy dose of Bollywood and latest international tracks ruled the music marathon. An outdoor stage complete with LED bulbs saw artistes like Prerna and Prairna, and Neeti Muhan belt out popular tracks that got the crowd to the dance floor early. Bollywood dance troupe Beat Busters performed to tracks like Zoobi doobi and Gal meethi meethi bol. Later on, DJ Ravi took over the console to churn out desi and English party numbers, ensuring that the floor was packed till the end.
Sip & bite: Three different bar counters saw the party people queuing up for beer bottles and Scotch glasses. Munchies like egg rolls, chicken nuggets, pastas and kebabs were moving fast from the food counters set up by the likes of Gupta Brothers, Arsalan, Don Giovanni and, of course, the club catering stalls.
Fashion quotient: Jeans and leggings teamed with slinky tops ruled the dress code for the girls, while pretty silk saris was the order of the night for the women. The men came in pin-striped party shirts or formal suits.
Midnight moment: As the countdown to midnight began, a series of fireworks lit up the night sky, Auld Lang Syne was played by club member Daniel Ghaznavi and everyone joined to sing along.
Clubspeak: It was great to see a turnout of over 3,000 people at the club. The party really rocked. We had a huge dance floor, there was spillage nevertheless, but everyone enjoyed. It was an exciting night, smiled Deepankar Nandi, CEO.
Revellerspeak: The party was a blast right from the start
good music, good lighting, good food, what more could one ask for, said advertising professional Dipika Harlalka.
