Inflation dips

New Delhi, Dec. 14: Easing food prices pulled down inflation to an 11-month low of 7.48 per cent in November, raising hopes that the Reserve Bank will not go for a hike in key rates in its monetary policy review on Thursday. Finance minister Pranab Mukherjee has expressed hope that inflation will come down to around 6 per cent by the end of this fiscal.

Eton Park

Mumbai, Dec. 14: Sajjan Jindal-led JSW Infrastructure will sell a 10 per cent stake in the company to US-based Eton Park for about $125 million (about Rs 560 crore). The proceeds will be used for the expansion of JSW’s port business, JSW Infrastructure chairman N.K. Jain said.
