Bagan-AFA sign MoU

Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, on Thursday, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam Football Association (AFA), in a tie-up to exchange players and support staff to develop football in Assam.

According to the agreement, Bagan will assist in training players and provide Assam with the technical support. AFA secretary Ankur Dutta said:

Top seed Aandrita Deb set up a final date with Srjita Ghosh in the girls’ U-16 singles summit clash of the BTA-Aita Talent Series Tennis tournament, on Thursday.

Ishika Gupta continued her dream run, beating third-seeded Rashmi Thakkar to sail into the final of the girls’ singles U-12 event.

Punjab and BSF reached the title round of the 11th All India Police Lawn Tennis Championship, at the Calcutta South Club, on Thursday. Punjab defeated Uttar Pradesh 2-0 while BSF had to break sweat to beat CRPF 2-1.
