Vasudeva to lead ONGC
New Delhi, Oct. 19: Sudhir Vasudeva, head of offshore oil and gas fields of ONGC, was today selected to head the country’s most valuable state-owned firm by market cap. The government’s headhunters — Public Enterprise Selection Board — selected Vasudeva, 56, to take over as chairman and managing director of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) after interviewing eight candidates, sources said.
