Fashion fiesta
Indulge in some weekend retail therapy as designer Anamika Khanna’s fun fashion collection is up for grabs at CIMA Art in Life 2010. Slouchy bags (jhola, batua and sling), statement neckpieces (safety pins, Swarovskis, god and goddess pendants), sexy bathrobes, silk scarves and an easy-chic range of tops and kurtas (all in so-now muted colours)…. The collection that went up on sale on Friday against a backdrop of an art installation, also set up by the designer, was disappearing within minutes. “The response has been unexpected… I didn’t expect that I would be running back to the factory to replenish stocks,” said Anamika. Prices range between Rs 800 and Rs 3,500.
