Motihari, Sept. 30: Contraband worth Rs 3 lakh was seized and two persons were arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) when they conducted a raid following a tip-off.

The raid was conducted in the 19 Up Bairgania Narkatiaganj passenger train near Sikta railway station late on Wednesday night.

According to RPF sources, the contraband includes 2kg of cannabis and around 55kg of marijuana.

The smugglers were identified as Nazir Miya and Lal Miya. They have been handed over to the custom officials and a case filed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
