Rahul visit
Guwahati, Sept. 18: Congress party general secretary Rahul Gandhi will visit Silchar on Thursday for a roadshow and will address a rally before flying out to Dibrugarh during his two-day visit to the state.
Blockade
Imphal: The United Naga Council has suspended its economic blockade along national highways in Manipur with immediate effect. It cited “commencement of a serious process” by the Centre for an alternative arrangement for the Nagas in Manipur as the reason for suspending the blockade.
