- t2 decodes the look book called gossip girl. which one are you?

Serena van der Woodsen

Played by: Blake Lively

Character: Bad-girl-turned-good, Manhattan socialite and it-girl Serena has a new style (and a new man) every season.

Signature style: Boho chic. Serena’s style is sexy and dishevelled but still classy. Over-the-knee boots paired with skinny jeans or a short dress is a classic Serena look. She is also seen wearing jackets — cropped, long, sequinned and metallic — in almost every scene, and always manages to pack in a surprising pop of colour or sequins or a plunging neckline.

Designer match: Vena Cava and Gauri & Nainika.

Bollywood match: Kareena Kapoor

Nathaniel Fitzwilliam ‘Nate’ Archibald

Played by: Chace Crawford

Character: The best looking, most popular and filthy rich boy-next-door.

Signature style: Preppy, very preppy. Nate has that classic, clean-cut Ralph Lauren look which never goes out of style! Loosened cuffs, untucked shirts and open collars give him that I-just-threw-this-on look that drives the girls crazy. Although mostly casual, in the later seasons Nate is seen wearing some sharp suits. His wardrobe consists solely of navy blue and plaid.

Designer match: Ralph Lauren and Gaurav Gupta.

Bollywood match: Ranbir Kapoor

Blair Waldorf

Played by: Leighton Meester

Character: The queen bee, manipulative and perfectly put together. Blair exudes sophistication and refinement.

Signature style: Elegant and feminine, with a hint of the wild. Blair is always perfectly coiffed and dressed but though her outfits may be conservative, she plays with bright colours, funky headbands, patterned tights and the occasional flash of skin to hint that this ice-queen might not be all that she seems! Pencil skirts and elbow bags, coupled with a frilly or ruffled blouse, short gloves and a colourful sweater or blazer make a typically Blair ensemble, or dresses coupled with sheer, patterned tights and diamond jewellery.

Designer match: Abigail Lorick and Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna of Cue.

Bollywood match: Katrina Kaif

Charles Bartholomew ‘Chuck’ Bass

Played by: Ed Westwick

Character: Chuck is the epitome of slick and smooth — he’s the anti-hero. Although not really good-looking, Chuck’s charm lies in his arrogance and devil-may-care attitude.

Signature style: Flamboyant and

Dare-to-wear-anything. From knee-high argyle socks paired with short shorts and an argyle vest to sweats and a headband to a three-piece suit, Chuck is one character who can even make suspenders and bow ties seem sexy. The only male character who is fashion forward, this is one guy whose clothes are never your dull jeans, T-shirt and Converse.

Designer match: Dolce & Gabbana and Narendra Kumar.

Bollywood match: Neil Nitin Mukesh
