Ethnic fashion at its best
This Durga Puja, flaunt the ethnic look. Head to the Puja exhibition at Kamala, the retail outlet of Crafts Council of India, for woven saris from different parts of India. There is an exquisite collection of handloom saris and yardage. Visitors can choose from an extensive range of Maheswaris, Gadwals, Chanderis, Khadi, Bagru, Shibori, Shantipuri, Dhaniakhali and Sanganeri saris and stoles, Bhagalpuri tussars and matkas, Pochampallis, Telias, Assamese vegetable-dyed weaves, as well as dupattas, scarves and also an entire range of household linen. So, this festive season, get ready to expand your wardrobe, drape up to look pretty and do your bit to contribute to the weavers’ livelihoods.
