Motihari, Sept. 2: Its teachings are heavy but the book weighs a mere 10 grams.
Dr Ataur Rahman Ansari, a Motihari-based physician, possesses a copy of the smallest version of the holy Quran.
The book measures 2.5cm in length and 2cm in breadth. Every word in this book is clearly visible when seen through a magnifying glass.
“Visitors from far off places come especially in the month of Ramzan and feel fortunate to get a glimpse of the holy book,” said Dr Ansari.
Talking about the special features of the book, Dr Ansari said it comprises 30 chapters, 114 subjects, 540 paragraphs, 86,430 words 8,33,760 letters and 6,666 sentences.
The book has 488 pages made of some special paper that was gifted by a stranger to Dr Ansari’s father, advocate Z. H. Ansari, nearly three decades ago.
Names of 26 prophets are there in the book and the name of ‘Allah’ has been mentioned 2,584 times, informed Dr Ansari.
