Where is Rajshree Ojha? Ever since the Aisha promotions began to be aired we have been curious about the case of the missing director. She was nowhere to be seen or heard. Even when the Aisha team came to Calcutta, there was no sign of Rajshree, who has roots in the city and even shot here years ago (a film called Chaurahein with Victor Banerjee and Roopa Ganguly).

The answer, our friends, lies with Karan Boolani. Karan who? Well, he was the first assistant director on Aisha, apart from being credited in other categories like choreography. And if our sources are right, Aisha’s producer and Sonam’s sister Rhea Kapoor is “close to” Karan.

And according to Karan, it is he who ghost-directed the film as Rajshree wasn’t “hep enough” to handle such a young film.

Of course, Rhea believed Karan and poor Rajshree went missing.
