AIS clinch T20 meet

Calcutta: Moises Henriques and Mitchell Starc starred with bat and ball, respectively, as Australian Institute of Sport beat India Emerging Players by 29 runs in the Emerging Players Twenty20 final in Brisbane on Thursday.

Batting first, the Australians posted 162, thanks to Henriques’ 72 and James Faulkener’s 44, according to information received here. Their 72-run stand for the fourth wicket set them to a competitive score.

Starc’s early strikes reduced them to 27 for three. Cheteshwar Pujara top scored with 38.
