Ulfa arrest

Police arrested three Ulfa cadres, Tapan Barman, Debojit Ray and Mahant Singh, from Bijni in Assam’s Chirang district today.

Encephalitis

Road mishap

Dhubri: Thirteen passengers were injured when a truck collided with a bus on NH 31 at Samukmari Chowk in Bongaigaon district on Friday. The condition of truck driver Gulsan Choudhury, 45, and handyman Mani Kumar Maglai,60, is critical.

Child injured

Dhubri: Nilee Khatoon, 7, of Belguri-I village in Assam’s Dhubri district was seriously injured when a car knocked her down on NH 31 near the village on Friday.
