Bokaro, June 29: Chas mufassil police today recovered the bullet-ridden body of missing Bokaro steel plant employee Shankar Gope alias Bhola Gope.

The body was found lying in a pool of blood near a pond at Bandhdih village, about 18kms away from Bokaro steel city.

Gope, who worked at the blast furnace site of Bokaro steel plant for the last 25 years, had been missing since yesterday.

He had been shot six times. Police are investigating the case.
