Innovation rules the bar menu at India Grill Restaurant, the all-day dining outfit in South Delhis Hilton Garden Inn. So the upmarket tippler can have a great time here knocking back concoctions like Mimosa (champagne with orange or mango juice) and the Grilltini (Martini with fresh juice from char-grilled oranges).
At the helm of affairs is 24-year-old Prateek Sagar, who graduated from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in 2008 with a degree in hotel management and catering technology. He worked at the prestigious The Island Bar in Shangri-Las Eros Hotel before moving to Hilton Garden Inn in 2009. I have always had a flair for bartending rather than food and decided to take it up seriously, he says.
Sagar has introduced more innovation by way of the Lemon Grass Mojito, claiming that the lemon grass is a perfect foil for Bacardi, adding a refreshing flavour to the drink.
Sagar has shared three recipes with us.
