3 rebels held

Guwahati, April 30: Security forces apprehended three cadres of the Ranjan Daimary faction of the NDFB from Debang reserve forest in Dhemaji district along the Assam-Arunachal border today.

CM response

Guwahati: Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi on Friday said he was not at all worried about reports that he is under threat from Ulfa. “I am always on their target,” Gogoi said.

Guwahati: The NF Railway on Friday announced a weekly special train between Dibrugarh and Katihar from May 3 for two months.

Guwahati: Chief judicial magistrate, Kamrup, Robin Phukan, on Friday remanded Palash Phukan in 14 days’ judicial custody in connection with four cases registered with the special operation unit of Assam police.
