April 20: A Trinamul Congress supporter was killed and two Congress supporters were injured when alleged CPM activists hurled bombs last night in Burdwan’s Ketugram, about 175km from Calcutta.

Police said the Opposition parties were holding a meeting when attacked.

In New Delhi, Trinamul MPs sat on a dharna outside Parliament demanding home minister P. Chidambaram's visit to the state and intervention to check “terrorism by the ruling CPM”.
