Indo-Bangla Games

India bagged 11 gold, 12 silver and seven bronze medals even as Bangladesh led the tally in the third Indo-Bangla Games on Friday. On the second day of the event, Bangladesh added 11 gold, 10 silver and 12 bronze medals to their kitty. That tookthe total to 26 gold, 26 silver and 24 bronze medals.

Shantipur High School beat Saidabad MC Vidyapith by 135 runs in the Boost School Cricket Tournament for the Dattu Phadkar Trophy.

AITA tourney

Avilash Mishra of Orissa won a ‘double’ in the U-12 section at the AITA-Talent Series event organised at the Dalhousie Institute. Avilash defeated Sanil Jagtiani 6-3, 6-4 in the singles and then he teamed up with Nishant Kumar to defeat Vikas Singh and Akshat Agarwal 6-2, 6-4.
