Take One School of Mass Communication

Applications are invited for admission to the bachelor of mass communication, master of mass communication and postgraduate diploma in mass communication programmes.

Eligibility:

Candidates applying for a graduation degree must have completed Plus Two or should be appearing for it this year. For the masters programme, aspirants must be graduates or should be appearing for the qualifying exam this year.

NRAI School of Mass Communication, Management & Technology

Applications invited for the bachelors and masters programmes in mass communication, advertising and journalism; bachelors and masters in business administration; bachelors in hotel management, technology and tourism; and diploma in airlines, tourism and hospitality management. All the courses are affiliated to the Punjab Technical University.

Eligibility:

Applicants for bachelors and diploma programmes must have completed Plus Two in any stream. Those applying to the masters courses should be graduates.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Abertay Overseas Merit Scholarship, University of Abertay, the UK

Last date: June 30

• There are 25 scholarships of £2,000 each.

Eligibility:

Applicants must hold an offer from the university for a full-time taught masters course and must have the international equivalent of a first class or upper second class honours (2:1) at the undergraduate level. They must also provide evidence of ability to fund the remaining costs (by sponsors’ guarantees).

Edudigm, an initiative by IIT Kharagpur alumni

Last date: April 11

Applications invited from IIT aspirants. About 400 meritorious students would be awarded up to 100 per cent merit scholarships and another 100 students from weak financial backgrounds would be awarded 100 per cent financial assistance for various programmes offered by Edudigm.

Eligibility:

Students from classes VIII to XII from West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa and all northeastern states may apply. Selection will be based on a written test and personal interview.
