Guwahati: The Bengal duos of Sourav Chakraborty-Anirban Nandi and Mouma Das-Pallavi Kundu made it to the men’s and women’s semi-finals respectively of the ongoing 71st Senior National and Inter-State Table Tennis Championship here on Friday.

Mouma partnered Pallavi to overcome Petroleum Sports Promotion Board (PSPB)’s Poulami Ghatak and Nandita Saha 13-11, 10-12, 13-11, 11-9 in the quarter finals.

Ghatak had pulled out of the Bengal team at the last moment to play for PSPB following which Mouma had to team up with Pallavi.

The Mouma-Pallavi pair will play PSPB duo Madhurika Patkar and K Shamini in the semis. In the other all-PSPB semi-final, Pooja Sahasrabudhe and Divya Deshpande will meet Soumi Mondal and Mousomi Paul.

Earlier, in the team event emi-finals, , PSPB cruised past Bengal 3-0, while RSPB had to struggle past Maharashtra 'A' 3-2.
