3 die in accident

Nagaon, Jan. 25: Gulzar Hussain, Ali Hussain and Yunus Ali died when the auto they were travelling in collided head-on with a truck at CCI Gate in Karbi Anglong district last night.

Trampled

Tinsukia: Sanjiv Panika, 8, was trampled to death by a herd of elephants at Laika Rigbi village in Tinsukia district of Assam on Sunday night.

Roadblock

Imphal: Protesters on Monday blocked the Imphal-Thoubal road at Moijing in Manipur’s Thoubal district in protest against the killing of local resident, Md Faziruddin, by troops of the Assam Rifles on January 21.

Gogoi orders
