Guwahati, Jan. 24: Assam boys Parikshit Somani and Arkashis M. Talukdar emerged top seeds in the under-12 and under-14 boys’ categories in the AITA-Talent Series Tennis Championship that is slated to begin at Jorhat Tennis Club courts from tomorrow.

On the girls’ courts too, Priyanka Kalita and Priyana Kalita of Assam topped the under-12 and under-14 seedings. Apart from Assam, players from Nagaland, Orissa, Delhi and Rajasthan will also participate in the meet.

While there will be singles and doubles events in both age groups for boys, there will be only singles for under-12 girls and singles and doubles for under-14 girls’.
