Shukla set to return

Regular skipper Laxmi Ratan Shukla is all set to make a comeback for Bengal’s fifth Ranji Trophy Super League (Group B) encounter against Uttar Pradesh that is to be played in Kanpur. Shukla, who has recovered from a quadriceps strain is likely to replace Sayan Sekhar Mondal. The UP match is a crucial one and former India captain Sourav Ganguly has decided to make himself available for the December 8-11 tie. With the Green Park track showing signs of being a slow turner, the toss-up will be between Iresh Saxena and Sourav Sarkar.
