The plot: Chaos strikes Rani (Rituparna) and Amit’s (Amitabha) happy domestic life when she and their little son are kidnapped by terrorists. The rest of the film is about how Rani, locked up in a garage, tries to break out with the help of Rony (Hiran), a stranger with whom she accidentally connects over the phone.

Point to ponder: How does Rani get to a phone? Well, she finds a broken set in the garage, joins the wires and voila! Rony tries to help by gathering all the information over phone and running helter-skelter on his motorcycle. Now if you are wondering why Rani simply couldn’t call up her IPS officer husband and end the whole kidnap drama, ask Riingo!
