Dibrugarh, Nov. 18: Arhima Sports Club, Meghalaya, edged out Oil India Limited Football Club, Duliajan, by a solitary goal in a Group D qualifying round match of the 31st Federation Cup Football Tournament at OIL Nehru Maidan stadium in Duliajan here today.

Amithy Tongper scored the winning goal for the Meghalaya team in the 30th minute through a long ranger from the right corner of the box.

Although OIL players tried hard, they failed to score because of poor co-ordination among their strikers.

Referee Nabin Sundi cautioned OIL’s Biplob Sonowal and Dhananjoy Boro and Arhima’s Restom Khriam for rough play.
