Raghav Khullar beat fifth seed Mohammed Kamran Ali 6-4, 6-2. Meanwhile, in the BTA ranking men’s and veterans’ tournament, Sanjib Kerketta defeated second seed Robin Das 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 in the men’s open first round.

India’s top junior talent will be seen in action when the Junior/Sub-Junior Tour tees off with the Lalit Suri Eastern India Junior Golf Championship at Tollygunge Club from Tuesday. The 72-hole stroke-play event has attracted top names including No. 1 on the IGU Order of Merit Chikkarangappa, No. 2 Ashbeer Singh Saini, No. 3 Khalin Joshi, No. 4 Ankur Chadha and No. 5 Trishul Chinnappa.
