Traders protest

Dhubri, Nov. 3: Traders of Chapor Bazar in Dhubri today observed a bandh wearing black badges in protest against frequent thefts in the bazar. Robbers escaped with goods and cash from four shops last night.

Dhubri: The Dhubri district unit of the AASU on Tuesday demanded inquiry into the construction of the new building of Dhubri Civil Hospital, complaining of anomalies in its construction.

Imphal: Police recovered a Chinese hand grenade from a roadside ditch at Singjamei in Imphal East on Tuesday.
