Jet fuel costlier
New Delhi, Oct. 31: State-owned oil firms today hiked jet fuel prices 9 per cent to over Rs 39,000 per kilolitre after a spurt in international oil rates. Aviation turbine fuel prices will rise by an average of Rs 3,400 per kilolitre effective midnight, oil industry officials said. Jet fuel price in Calcutta has been raised by Rs 3,431 per kl to Rs 47,680.

Mumbai, Oct. 31: Indias foreign exchange reserves rose $684 million for the week ended October 23 to $285.52 billion from $284.83 billion in the previous week. Foreign Currency Assets grew to $268.34 billion against $267.89 billion in the week ago, the RBI said.
