Silva, Kandamby in Test squad
- lanka’s tour of india chanaka welegedara earns a call-up
Dilhara Fernando returns

Calcutta: Left-arm pacer Chanaka Welegedara has been recalled for Sri Lanka’s tour of India as he was included in the Test squad, apart from being named in the T20 squad as well.

Welegedara, 28, made his debut against England in 2007 but lost his place after suffering problems with his run-up.

Uncapped players, wicketkeeper Kaushal Silva and middle-order batsman Thilina Kandamby were also named in the Test squad.

Kandamby made it to the Test squad by virtue of his impressive show in the ODIs.

Paceman Dilhara Fernando, making a comeback from injury, has made the XV for the ODIs. Fernando has also been named among the standbys for the Test squad.

All-rounder Muthumudalige Pushpakumara is a new face in the T20 squad.

Kumar Sangakkara will lead the side in all the three formats.

Sri Lanka are scheduled to play three Tests, five ODIs and two T20 Internationals against India.
