Monza: Adrian Sutil of Force India was quickest in Italian Grand Prix practice Friday.
Sutil confirmed that the Indian team, which is coming off a second-place finish at Belgium, would be a contender at the Monza circuit after setting a fastest lap of 1 minute, 23.924 seconds at Formula Ones fastest track.
Lewis Hamilton showed McLaren may also contend after lapping about one-hundreth of a second slower.
Overall F1 leader Jenson Button was nearly eight-tenths slower than Sutil. (AP)
