Jamshedpur, Aug. 23: If you want to give yourself and your home a makeover this Durga Puja, head to Boutiques of India.

The two-day exhibition being held at Tulsi Bhavan in Bistupur has brought a collection of apparels, accessories and home decoration items to the steel city. From wedding trousseaus, party wears in chiffon, georgette and net to designer salwar kameez, everything is available under one roof.

Boutiques like Babes, Shree Addya Jewellers from Mumbai, Rasberrie from New Delhi and Color Fab from Jaipur displayed their collection of kurtis, bed linens and exclusive accessories.

In the accessories section, there were kundan jewellery, both heavy and light, stone studded ornaments and semi-precious trinkets.

“We have brought boutiques from across the country under one roof. With their rare designs, the boutiques will surely attract the customers here,” said one of the organisers of the exhibition.

Another exhibition is being held at The Milanee, Bistupur where boutique owners from Calcutta have displayed their work. Their collection ranges from kantha stitch, fabric painting on saris, kurtis to dress materials. The exhibition named Shraddhanjali started from August 21. The Muslim Library in Bistupur is also hosting a Textile Fair where garment manufacturers have come forward with their collection.
