‘Affair’ kills girl

New Delhi, July 10: A CAT aspirant yesterday killed his girlfriend in a fit of rage because he suspected she was in a relationship with another man.

The body of 24-year-old Sunita (name changed), who had been living as a paying guest in Patel Nagar in central Delhi for two years, was discovered last night by a friend who called police.

Yesterday Sunita had a fight with her boyfriend Kapil Sharma, 23, over her alleged affair, police said. Kapil said he would marry her if she accepted having the affair. But when she refused and walked off Kapil stabbed her, Jaspal Singh, deputy commissioner of police (central) said. Kapil has confessed to killing Sunita in a fit of rage, Singh said.

New Delhi (PTI): Air India has derostered nine employees, including two pilots, for taking on board three passengers in excess of aircraft capacity on its flight from Mumbai to Mangalore two months ago.
