Body recovered
Kokrajhar, June 22:
The body of an ex-BLT cadre, Mukul Daimary of Boro Kursakati, was recovered from near Basugaon railway station in Chirang this morning. Daimary went missing yesterday.
Militant dead
Imphal:
A joint team of police and the Assam Rifles shot dead a suspected militant near Thoubal bazar at 10.30pm on Sunday. The body is yet to be identified.
