Kokrajhar, June 22:
The body of an ex-BLT cadre, Mukul Daimary of Boro Kursakati, was recovered from near Basugaon railway station in Chirang this morning. Daimary went missing yesterday.
A joint team of police and the Assam Rifles shot dead a suspected militant near Thoubal bazar at 10.30pm on Sunday. The body is yet to be identified.
The Baksa district unit of the All Bodo Student’s Union burnt question papers of lower primary schools’ mid-term exam after students of 96 venture schools in the area were denied question papers.
