Ananda In the Himalayas is offering a Monsoon Package till October 15 to help you tide over the muggy rainy season. The packages are on offer for seven, 14 and 21 nights and pack a punch. These monsoon offerings throw in Yoga and meditation sessions, a consultation with a wellness expert, Ayurvedic spa therapies and massages. Besides, they also include two-way transfers from Haridwar railway station or Dehradun airport, accommodation, morning tea, a fruit bowl each day and the Ananda Rejuvenation Spa Cuisine meals (breakfast/ lunch/ dinner). For me, nothing equals the feeling of being out in the bush. A memorable holiday last year was at the Pilanesberg Game Reserve in South Africa. It was an experience of a life time, keeping strict vigil on the watering holes of the park to track wildlife with just silence for company. The safaris kept us busy throughout the day as we managed to feast our eyes on most four legged residents of the African landscape. Cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, giraffes and hippos turned up in droves offering a treasure trove of memories to animal buffs like me. It was also a one-of-a-kind feeling to luxuriate in fancy cottages in the midst of nowhere. |
