New Delhi, April 18: The State Bank of India has extended the offer period of its concessional loans to farmers against cold storage and warehouse receipts till September 30. The scheme was to expire on April 30, 2009. Last week, the bank extended its special home and car loan offers at 8 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively, till September 30, 2009.

Mumbai, April 18: The country’s forex reserves dipped $2.18 billion to $252.97 billion for the week ended April 10 compared

in the previous week. During the week ended April 3, the country’s total reserves had increased $2.83 billion. The foreign currency assets dropped $2.17 billion to $242.42 billion from $2 44.59 billion in the previous week, the Reserve Bank of India said.
