Girl forced to plough

Dibrugarh, March 30 (PTI): A teenaged girl, Rupali Bhuyan, from Lohalibasti village in Tinsukia was forced to plough the fields by local residents who believed it will end the dry spell in the region, police said today.

Ganja haul

Rangiya (PTI): Nearly 1.40 quintals of Manipuri ganja was seized from the Howrah-bound Kamrup Express on Monday.

Expedition

Itanagar (UNI): A mountaineer from Arunachal Pradesh, Tapi Mra, is all set to scale Mount Everest. e is expected to reach the base camp on April 1 or 2, from where he would go for the qualifying climb.
