A DIFFERENT BEAT

Friday night at Plush saw B.L..T. — Basic Love Of Things — a live electronica and visuals acts band, showcase their stuff. Avinash and Gaurav from the Delhi-based band caused quite a stir at the nightclub in The Astor with their techno beats. “It’s our first time here and it was good. The sounds are new to the city so I think a lot of people were trying to figure out how to tap their feet to it. It’s not happy music which people are used to, but there are mellow and dark shades in the middle,” said Avinash. The sheers at the nightclub took on a new look as the projected visuals wove their way through the translucence. “Sometimes we also control the lights in the nightclub with the music to add to the effect,” explained the band who are regular players at Shalom and Six Month Story lounges in Delhi.
