Imphal, March 28: Five candidates have so far filed their nomination papers for the Outer Manipur Lok Sabha constituency, scheduled to go to the hustings on April 16.

Congress candidate Thangso Baite, BJP nominee D. Loli Adanee, People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) candidate Mani Cheranamei and an Independent, Valley Rose, submitted their papers to returning officer R.K. Dinesh. NCP candidate L.B. Sona had filed his nomination papers earlier.

The Revolutionary Peoples Front today announced that it will boycott the Lok Sabha polls in the state.
