Subba car attacked
Guwahati, March 27:
A group attacked the convoy of sitting Tezpur MP and lottery baron Mani Kumar Subba near Gohpur this afternoon when he had gone there to campaign. onitpur police said two persons were injured and two vehicles damaged in the incident.
Bus accident
Nagaon:
Sixteen persons were injured when the bus they were travelling in met with an accident at Kaliabor on Friday. The bus was travelling from Nagaon to Jhakalabandha.
Body found
Dhubri:
The body of six-year-old Siba Barman was recovered by Barpeta police from Mora Beki river near Sorbhog on Thursday night. The boy was missing since March 24.

Tinsukia:
Activists of All Assam Tea Tribes Students Association on Friday blocked National Highway 38 at Makum for one hour. They also burnt the effigy of chief minister Tarun Gogoi.

Army on Thursday arrested three militants from Chakma under Gossaigaon police station in Kokrajhar.
Cattle seized
Dhubri:
The BSF seized 112 cattle worth Rs 12 lakh from Hatichar, Salapara, Mantrirchar, Sealdah and old Dewaner Alga in Dhubri on Friday.
