Revised drug price

New Delhi, March 16: Drug price regulator, the National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, has revised the prices of 285 formulation packs of medicines, including imported drugs sold in the country by multinationals such as Pfizer and Novartis, and 15 formulations of insulin injections, whose prices had been fixed by the regulator for the first time.

New Delhi, March 16: Automobile mirror manufacturer Motherson Sumi Systems plans to take over a European firm this year after successfully acquiring British spares firm Visiocorp. The firm and Samvardhana Motherson Finance jointly acquired Visiocorp for Rs 176 crore.

New Delhi, March 16: The RBI has extended the last date for companies to complete the buyback of FCCBs by nine months to December 31, 2009. Foreign currency convertible bonds (FCCBs) are a kind of overseas debt.
