A hard day’s night

Karan Singh Grover, who is KG to his wife Shraddha Nigaam, is having a hard time shuttling between the sets of his serial Dill Mill Gayye and the rehearsals for the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Karan reveals breathlessly: “I shoot all day long and reach home at 11 in the night. I meet Shraddha for 10-15 minutes and then leave for rehearsals that go on for three-four hours. I come back late and catch sleep for 3-4 hours, meet Shraddha for 10 minutes in the morning and rush back for shooting.”

And does he practise dancing at home with Shraddha? “I meet her either too late or too early in the morning and she is half asleep then. Once I did try and waltz with her after I returned from my rehearsals but she was too sleepy so we did not manage to dance!”

Car and cruise

Winners of the fourth season of Nach Baliye Shaleen-Daljit (seen here jiving with SRK) are over the moon. Though the car — part of the prize booty — has not yet arrived, the two are super excited about it.

Shaleen says: “We have not received the car yet. But I guess when we do receive it, we will share the car — she will take it one day and I will take it the next (laughs).”

Daljit, who had vowed that she would marry on a cruise, says: “Yes I will do as I had promised but wedding bells will ring only when our parents agree and are game to dance at our marriage.”

Shaleen was keen to tie the knot on the day of the Nach Baliye finals, but delayed his date with destiny. What’s the new date? Watch this space.
