Aditya Birla Retail
Aditya Birla Retail is targeting a revenue of 10-15 per cent from its private label business in the next two to three years and plans to set up 250 supermarket stores by March 2010, company CEO Thomas Varghese said. “Private labels business contributes around 3 per cent to our revenue. We plan to increase it to 10-15 per cent in the next three years,” Varghese said.
BOC profit
BOC India Ltd has reported a gross turnover of Rs 571.66 crore for the year ended December 2008. The profit before tax for the year at Rs 107.80 crore includes interest income of Rs 23.72 crore on surplus cash from preferential issue parked in fixed deposits of banks and exceptional income totalling Rs 24.57 crore. The profit after tax stood at Rs 80.04 crore.
Huawei launch
Huawei Technologies has unveiled products from its IPTime solution portfolio at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2009. The IPTime solution removes bandwidth bottlenecks in mobile broadband services to enable operators to implement end-to-end IP mobile transport effectively.

Gayatri Projects Ltd has bagged two orders worth Rs 2,132 crore from the Andhra Pradesh government for construction-related works.
