27 hurt in mishap
Diphu, Feb. 20:
Twenty-seven people were injured when a Diphu-bound bus from Bokajan lost control and overturned at Manja today. he condition of three people is said to be serious.
Three held
Dhubri:
A Bangladeshi and two Indians were apprehended on Thursday night by security forces at Khewarchar under Sadar Tilla Border outpost in Dhubri for being part of a racket that helps illegal migrants cross over to India.
Arrests
Hailakandi:
Police on Thursday night arrested Bhavajway and Bikram Reang from south Hailakandi for being involved in a firing and dacoity case in Damcherra village last week.
